I WIN.
PS3. 20gb. Resistance Fall of Man. I was offered $1200 walking out the door of best buy.
Im really, really glad I did this. I had a lot of fun, met some really cool people, and most of all, got paid to sit around and do nothing all day.
Oh if anyone's interested.. im selling it with the game for $2000obo.
Im also going to play it until I sell it, so if anyone has a sweet HDTV, and wants to play, call me.
Time to shower.

Dispite the discouraging news, old lady and the 3 others have decided to stick it out in hopes of them coming in in the morning. Old lady has starting to knit a quilt, in an obvious attempt to prepare for the long night ahead.
We've been watching more south park on the projector, a little bit of "Cars", and right now.. we're playing mu'fuckin street fighter! Blanka just pwnd Chun Li like a N3\/\/B.
Wow. I can't believe I just said that. I guess the environment is messing getting to me.
Emily has been keeping me sane the past couple of hours, with our very elaborate discussion about poking. I think we poked each other about 60 times. She also admitted to me that she watches "Sit and Be Fit" on a regular basis. I dont know what thats all about, but it looks like its working. Oh, and since I'm now a professional camper (yes, pro. I am paid to camp), and prepared for anything that could come my way in a best buy parking lot, I convinced her to go camping. Shes an expert on snakes so im not too worried. One time, she ate a rattlesnake.. or something.
Oh, and the 2nd person in line just sold his PLACE IN LINE.........
for $1200. Cash.
The guy still has to pay $600 to get the PS3. And ebay sales are looking very promising, with 20gb pre-sales going for about $1200, and the 60gbs averaging $2200.
Wow, all these guys buying pre-sales are going to be really sad when they realize their pre-sales didn't come in, which puts me in a very nice position actually having one.
Alright. Back to doing nothing. |

Bad news for the last 4 people in line. 4 of the consoles didn't show up. Luckily.. im the 6th to last person in line.. JUST BARELY GOT IT. AWESOME.
now all i have to do is wait.
I feel bad, because most of us are like "fuck yeah.. money". But the last person in line is this old hispanic women, whos getting it for her grandson for christmas. Shes been talking about him all day and how much of a good kid he is, how much she loves him and how she'd do anything for him.
I think its bullshit.. all part of her massive plan to get me out of line. SHOULD HAVE GOT HERE LAST NIGHT!

OH... and our security guard last night went completely APE SHIT. Apparently, someone was doing donuts last night, and he went chasing after them... but SOMEONE got the story wrong, and said that HE was doing donuts.
well... he got fired.
so he pulls up here.. slams his door, and starts yelling at the ENTIRE LINE. he almost got in a fight with the first person in line. im kind of scared tonight, hopefully our new guard will keep us safe. think about it, any guy that would show up and yell at a line, just might be crazy enough to do something drastic.
anyway.. now i just have to wait. suns starting to go down, so tents, tvs, games, projectors will be going up soon. it is niceeee. |

We just got an update from the manager that they have 24 60gb models and 14 20gb. Me and Tavis are numbers 32 and 33 in line.. NICE.
We were forced to take our tent down during buisness hours, so we decided to tie blankets to rails and chairs to make some shade.
Ive been watching south park (this week... not so good) and playing video games on my laptop.. but its getting kind of old. I might end up buying something inside to help pass some time.
Some lady from KSAT12 tried to interview me, but I had just woken up, and told her no. She wanted to talk to us about our heater/laptop/tent/projector situation. Apparently the guy in the front of our line has his picture on the front page of the express news.
And some random person decided to buy everyone in line breakfast tacos. Im not sure if it was Best Buy, or KSAT, or just some random guy.. but i got a free egg and cheese taco.
All in all.. its not so bad. It'd be nice to have a shower, and not get weird looks from customers as im brushing my teeth in the best buy bathroom... but I think I'll be fine. |

so right now... im in a tent. infront of best buy across from northstar.
me and tavis are camping out for a playstation 3. we're going to resell it on ebay for a lot of money.
we have a 5 person tent, a laptop, a heater, a wall projector, blankets, sleeping bags, and a little whataburger.
we also have 3 random people staying in our tent.. because we felt bad that they were going to sleep on blankets outside. they seem pretty cool, and hopefully wont kill us in our sleep.
come visit us tomorrow, because we're probably going to be bored out of our minds.

I think my vote for the annual NAMM/l.a. trip, is to go to namm for a day or two, and then go to big sur. although the whole L.A - N.Y same week plan is pretty sweet, I just think I wouldn't be able to live with myself knowing that I was in the same state as nepenthe, and didn't go. Maybe we could drive to nepenth, and fly from san jose to new york the next day. then everyone wins. |

Nothing takes the place of eating an Ambrosia Burger, prepared by Nepenthe's incomparable cook, Willie Nelson. But sometimes, you can't visit us, and you are longing for a taste of Big Sur at home. The preparation of our Ambrosia Burger is very simple, but it is deceptive. The quality of the ingredients and the temperature of your grill are most important.
The Patty: For 4 of these delicious Ambrosia Burgers you'll need:1 ½ # of Fresh Ground Beef
Selection of the finest, coarse ground, low fat beef is extremely important. Ours is ground fresh each morning before we receive it. Many butchers have tried to recreate "Nepenthe Grind," but we only get ours through Carmel Meats and Specialty Foods in Marina, CA. There is none better. Form the meat into a six-ounce ball, and roll in your hand to form together. Lay the ball on a clean flat surface and press flat. The edges of the patty should be cracked and broken, not perfectly smooth. This really enhances flavor.The Patty must be cooked on a hot open brazier, either over medium hot coals or open gas flame. Turn the burger only once, immediately when you see blood rise to the top. When you see clear juice rise on the cooked side, you've got a perfect medium rare. Wait as long as possible to add cheese, as this slows down cooking time.
Ambrosia Sauce:
1 cup Mayonnaise
¼ cup Tomato Sauce
¼ cup Mild Chile Salsa
The Bun:
4 each Fresh Steak Rolls
2 TBSP Butter
Butter the buns before you toast them. When you turn your burgers, toast the buns on a pre-heated flat grill, or, over the open flame next to your burgers.'
PROCEDURE:
Upon request, have fresh lettuce, sliced tomato, onion and thin slice cheddar cheese near by on a plate. The first bite of the burger should almost burn your palate. We believe you can never serve an Ambrosia Burger too fast.
Serve with tossed green salad and shoestring fries. |

i haven't had my laptop for about 2 weeks now, and to top it off.. the internets been acting up at the studio the past 2 days. hopefully ill be ordering my black macbook on monday/tuesday and it wont take to long to get here. this no computer thing is killing me.
it seems like all my sessions decided to get crammed into 2 weeks at once. havne't made much money the past 2 months and after next week i should be doin really good for a change. ive been recording before you accuse me all week. sounds a lot better than the last stuff they did, their new drummer is really freakin good, and we actually got sweet guitar tone this time. only problem is... they're not going to finish. they really need more time.
yesterday i had a rap session, where the rappers showed up with nothing. no lyrics written, no beats, nothing... for a 12 hour session. so i sat there for 2 hours looping a track for them to write words too, while i surfed the internet and got paid. pretty sweet. they took a dinner break and came back sooooooooooooo high. it was stupid. ive never seen anyone that high. not even suli hahah. suli actually stopped by and saw them, and just said "fuuuuck".
so tomorrow, is more before you accuse me, then SNAKES ON A PLANE. might be going to the lake saturday. utsa music audition sunday. before you accuse me again on monday. some rap on tuesday. school starting on wednesday. mixing thursday. and MAKE YOUR OWN MAPS on saturday. thats sure to be a party.
oh and south first band recorded a new hot track called "booty" with me yesterday. its so good, it will change the face of rap as we know it. |

now... i have tickets to mute math in dallas tomorrow. but now that im home, laying in my bed. im pretty sure im going to sleep here for the next 3 days.
